Lucy enjoying Chilean cultural items.

Although it's been a very rainy end of May, Flay Lucy visited the market place again. This time she saw a doll wearing typical dress, Mapuche wooden figures, Mapuche silver jewelry, ponchos made of Llama wool and Temuco shopping bags. She wants to buy everything she sees!

Lucy celebrated with us 21 de Mayo

On May 21, 1879 there was a gloriuos naval combat between Chile and Peru (Pacific War). Our hero's name is Arturo Prat Chacon.
Lucy went with us to the parade and saw lots of typical chilean stuff.

Lucy at the Market Place

The first thing she did

The first thing Lucy did was visiting the market place.
It's the place where we usually invite tourists. It's full of typical handcraft, cooper, wood, wool things, typical cloth and restaurants which offer the best typical food.
Mapuche culture is very well represented there!
She liked it very much!

Flat Lucy in Chile

Flat Lucy arrived in Chile in middle Autumn season.
Autumn uses to be very rainy in IX Region de la Araucania, but this has been a dry year... she is a lucky girl as she has visited many places in our city so far.
She visited the market place and other nice spots downtown.
She also saw 21 de Mayo parade.
Bastian and Leslie enjoy taking her along and making pictures with her!
